Mitos partners with local churches to cultivate a global heart and missions culture. We have several key ways we do that:
1. We work with local pastors to develop a strategy and implement a missions program in their context that includes missionary support and short-term teams.
2. Develop and train lay leaders in organizing, planning, recruiting, and executing a short-term missions trip in the local church context. We will walk alongside of local church leadership to empower them to send short-term teams.
3. Coaching local church missions leadership to develop a strategy of sending full time workers to the nations.

"Mitos is mobilizing believers and strengthening the impact of missionaries by building bridges between the American church and Unreached Peoples."
"Mitos is positioned to do a great work in mobilizing the Church to complete the Great Commission, and I am honored to stand behind this movement. Together, we can ensure that missions remains the heartbeat of every church and every believer. Now is the time to partner and be a part of what God is doing through Mitos!"
Mitos Missions Network is a parternship of churches and global workers who are working toward the completion of the Great Commission. We recognize that is a big task and we need each other to do it!
Mitos Network seeks to partner with local churches and global workers to raise the level of support and awareness of what God is doing around the globe.
Pronounced "my-toes", it is a root of the word "mitosis". The word "mitos" originates from the ancient Greek meaning "the thread of warp". As a part of mitosis, the thread of warp is the common thread that is found in all of the cells as they multiply.
Mitos Network believes that the Great Commission is the call of every believer, multiplication the call of every disciple, and the common thread through it all is the Gospel of Jesus.
This is why we refer to ourselves as Mitos Missions Network.
We love to partner with people and connect them to the Great Commission! Whether you are a local church or an individual we can come alongside of you and help you discover your role in completing the work Jesus left for us to do. Reach out to us by clicking here.
